Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® label is known worldwide. It certifies textiles tested for harmful substances and stands for product safety and customer trust. Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® certifies textiles such as clothing, bed linen, and towels, as well as textile raw materials and intermediate products like yarn, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, buttons, zippers, sewing threads, labels, etc.
Which items are certified?
Certification according to Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® is suitable for textile products all stages of processing, from individual yarns to finished fabrics, as well as for finished articles. Following a modular approach, all individual components are tested before the final product is certified with the Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® . Further tests for harmful substances are carried out on prints and coatings applied to outer fabrics, based on the relevant criteria.

What does the label say?
When a textile product is awarded the Standard 100 label, you can be confident that all components of that product— all threads, buttons, and accessories—have been tested for harmful substances. This testing is carried out by independent OEKO-TEX® institutes based on a comprehensive set of criteria.
Criteria of STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®
Product Class 1: This product class includes products for babies and has the strictest requirements and limits.
Product Class 2: This product class includes products that come into contact with the skin. Items considered to come into close contact with the skin are those that can be in direct contact with the skin to a large extent, such as blouses, shirts, underwear, mattresses, etc.
Product Class 3: This product class includes products that do not come into contact with the skin. Items that have no or minimal contact with the skin, such as jackets and vests, belts, etc., are described as having no or minimal contact with the skin.
Product class 4: This product class comprises furnishing materials. This includes all articles, semi-finished products and accessories used for furnishing purposes, such as tablecloths, curtains, upholstery fabrics, etc.
