Hakro's story
The "Harry Kroll Clothing Store" was opened in 1967 by Harry and Marianne Kroll. With a strong focus on quality and workmanship, they initially offered and sold outerwear for women, men, and children. Based on these qualities, Harry Kroll decided to manufacture his own textiles.
Over the years, the quality of the offered work and sportswear has developed into an ever-growing product segment – in addition, a printing and finishing service is offered.
The first collection under the brand name "Hakro" was created in 1987. With this launch, Hakro developed clothing classics such as the T-shirt No. 292, the sweatshirt No. 471, and the polo shirt No. 800. These garments are still part of the product range today.
Since then, the Hakro brand has been distributed through selected retail partners, and the retail stores have been sold. The Hakro collections are continuously being developed with new models and colors.

High quality – Made with awareness and conscience
For Hakro, it goes without saying that they take responsibility for the entire production and supply chain all their textiles. Long-term relationships with a manageable circle of socially responsible manufacturers who are committed to the BSCI Code of Conduct form the basis of this.
