Organic Content StandardOCS 100

The Organic Content Standard ( OCS , OCS 100 ) aims to record the content and quantity of organic materials in a finished product. This involves tracing the raw material from its source to the finished product. The Organic Content Standard applies to products, with the exception of foodstuffs, that contain 95-100% organic material.

The Organic Content Standard is independently verified. OCS 100 enables a transparent, comprehensive, and independent assessment of organic materials. It verifies the accuracy of information regarding the organic material content of a product.

OCS 100 covers the production, processing, packaging, labeling, trade, and distribution of a product . Products must contain at least 95% certified organic material.

The OCS 100 label can be used as a B2B tool — it gives companies the assurance that they are selling and buying quality products.
